Smallville Season 10 Episode 1 Synopsis: Chloe continues to try and find Oliver, Tess awakens to find herself resurrected and held captive in a Cadmus Labs laboratory finding that the lab is trying to resurrect Lex Luthor through the use of clones. A cloned younger Lex claims the clones to be his brothers, and Lois continues to figure out hints and clues about Clark’s secret. Meanwhile, Clark finds Jonathan at the farm, who warns him that something “dark” is coming. Do you wish to see some loose ends tied up like Kal-el becoming Superman and/or discovered who he really is when he saw that little green thing in the barnyard? I would really like to see that, too.

Twilight Saga: Eclipse Goes IMAX

Summit Entertainment has announced The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will be released in both conventional theaters and in IMAX on June 30, 2010. While the film was shot with regular cameras, IMAX is going to digitally re-master the movie with their proprietary IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology so it can be shown in IMAX theaters. With the huge money The Twilight Saga has been making at theaters, it’s no surprise everyone wants it in IMAX. This way, theater owners can charge more for tickets and everyone involved can make more money. It’s just unfortunate they didn’t film any of the movie using IMAX cameras when it was in production. Of course, with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn still to be shot, perhaps the final chapter will be a real IMAX release and Twilight fans will be able to see Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner fill the whole screen.IMAX Corporation (NASDAQ: IMAX; TSX: IMX) and Summit Entertainment announced today that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third film in the studio’s Twilight franchise, will be released to IMAX® theatres simultaneously with the film’s launch on June 30, 2010. Warner will release Deathly Hollows in 2010!

The final chapter of the Harry Potter film series begins as Harry, Ron and Hermione leave Hogwarts behind and set out to find and destroy the Horcruxes--the secret to Voldemort's power and immortality. It is truly amazing that the production and director all agreed to split the last Harry Potter 7, in two parts! Not surprising in the least, because honestly the storyline is quite packed and the previous films were starting to get longer and longer and the spectator in their cinema chairs who have had the exact same add-on well....when it's dark and comfortable, nature takes over. Missing one of the greatest literature and film masterpieces combined into one is really on nobody's to do list, and that is how we ended up with 2 parts. Watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Iron Man 2 Movie

Iron Man 2 is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name from Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures. It is the sequel to 2008's Iron Man, and the second film in a planned trilogy. Directed by Jon Favreau, the film stars Robert Downey, Jr. reprising his role as Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist and master engineer, also known as the superhero, Iron Man. The film is scheduled to be released in North America on May 7, 2010. The world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is an upcoming 2010 action/adventure fantasy film written by Jordan Mechner, Boaz Yakin, Doug Miro, and Carlo Bernard, directed by Mike Newell, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film is based on the 2003 video game of the same name, developed and released by Ubisoft Montreal. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Prince Dastan, Gemma Arterton as Tamina, Ben Kingsley as Nizam, and Alfred Molina as Sheik Amar. Currently, it is the fourth film under the Walt Disney Pictures banner to receive a PG-13 rating by the MPAA (the first three being the Pirates of the Caribbean series) for intense sequences of violence and action. Despite the film being based on The Sands of Time, elements from Warrior Within and The Two Thrones are present. The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is an epic action-adventure set in the mystical lands of Persia. A rogue prince (Jake Gyllenhaal) reluctantly joins forces with a mysterious princess (Gemma Arterton) and together, they race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time—a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world. The Twilight Phenomenon

The widespread appeal of the Twilight novels and the huge online fan community of the series are often noted, and the author and the series' popularity are often compared with J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter. Upon Twilight's initial publication, the book generally received positive reviews, which acted as a catalyst to spread its popularity. A social networking community for Twilight fans has over 200,000 members at the series' official site, and the series has spawned hundreds of fansites. The Twilight series' popularity and enthusiastic fan following have grabbed media attention and been dubbed "The Twilight Phenomenon". Economically, the town of Forks, Washington, the setting for the Twilight series, has improved due to tourism from fans of the books. Forks are visited by an average of 8,000 tourists per month, and have been described as a "Mecca for Twilighters".

The main characters in the series
1. Isabella "Bella" Swan – The protagonist of the series, teenager Bella is a perpetually clumsy "danger magnet", with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is often portrayed as having low self-esteem and unable to comprehend Edward's love for her. She has immunity to supernatural abilities involving the mind, such as Edward's mind-reading ability.
2. Edward Cullen – Edward is a vampire who lives with a coven of like-minded vampires known as the Cullen family, who feed on animals rather than humans. Over the course of the Twilight series, Edward falls in love with, marries, and has a child with Bella. Like some vampires, Edward has a supernatural ability, mind reading; it allows him to read anyone's thoughts within a few miles radius. Bella is immune to his power as a human, but learns how to lower this "shield" after her transformation to a vampire.
3. Jacob Black – He resurfaces in New Moon with a much larger role, becoming a werewolf and Bella's best friend as she struggles through her depression over losing Edward. Although he is in love with Bella, she initially sees him as just her best friend. In Eclipse Bella realizes that she loves Jacob as well, though this love is overpowered by her love for Edward Cullen.

New Official Twilight Saga: Eclipse Teaser Poster

This is the new official Twilight Saga: Eclipse teaser poster released to the public. As you can see the poster has a very dark tone to it, with the dark clouds and such. I’m guessing it’s due to the nature of the film, which has been reported to be very dark, and contain a lot of fighting scenes. According to some sites the plot is this: The vampire Victoria (James's mate from Twilight) has created an army of "newborn" vampires to battle the Cullen family and murder Bella for revenge. Meanwhile, Bella is impelled to choose between her relationship with Edward and her friendship with Jacob. Edward's vampire family and Jacob's werewolf pack join forces to successfully destroy Victoria and her vampire army. In the end, Bella chooses Edward's love over Jacob's and agrees to marry him. District 9

District 9 is an upcoming science fiction movie and directed by Neill Blomkamp and produced by Peter Jackson. The movie is based on 'Alive in Joburg', a short film previously produced by Neill Blomkamp. The story of District 9 is set in a world in which aliens have landed on earth 28 years ago. Those aliens are like refugees, contained in a huge camp called District 9. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africa’s District 9 as the world’s nations argued over what to do with them. Now, patience over the alien situation has run out. Control over the aliens has been contracted out to Multi-National United (MNU), a private company uninterested in the aliens' welfare - they will receive tremendous profits if they can make the aliens' awesome weaponry work. The tension between the aliens and the humans comes to a head when an MNU field operative, Wikus van der Merwe (Sharlto Copley), contracts a mysterious virus that begins changing his DNA. Wikus quickly becomes the most hunted man in the world, as well as the most valuable - he is the key to unlocking the secrets of alien technology. Ostracized and friendless, there is only one place left for him to hide: District 9. Other casts in the District 9 movie are Jason Cope and Robert Hobbs. It is scheduled for a release on August 14, 2009.

The 2012: End of the World Movie

A global cataclysm occurs which leads to the end to the world and has survivors struggling for their lives. The film is inspired by several hypotheses that state the ancient Mayans predicted a doomsday event will occur sometime around the 2012. On November 12, 2008, the studio released the first spoof trailer for 2012 that showed a tsunami surging over the Himalayas and interlaced a purportedly scientific message suggesting that the world would end in 2012. . The trailer featured several scenes of apocalyptic destruction and their aftermath, including the collapse of Christ the Redeemer in Brazil during an earthquake, the apparent eruption of the Yellowstone Caldera, an incredibly strong earthquake along the San Andreas fault causing Los Angeles and other large sections of Southern California to slide into the Pacific Ocean, the destruction of St. Peter's Basilica, Las Vegas being split by a large canyon. 2012 was originally scheduled to be released on July 10, 2009. The release date was changed to November 13, 2009. The film was directed by Roland Emmerich, produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment and distributed by Columbia Pictures. And it looks like there are a few big names in the movie such as Danny Glover, John Cusack, Thandie Newton and Woody Harrelson. I think it looks like it could be a good movie, but you can watch also the trailer and tell us what you personally think of this new movie.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

The sub-zero heroes from the worldwide blockbusters “Ice Age” and “Ice Age: The Meltdown” are back, on an incredible adventure. The new Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Scrat is still trying to nab the ever-elusive nut and guard his beloved nut from a flirtatious rival, Scratte (while, maybe, finding true love). Anxiety-ridden Manny and fun-loving Ellie are awaiting the birth of their baby mammoth; tiger Diego thinks he's gone soft hanging around his pals. Sid begins to wish for a family of his own, and so steals some dinosaur eggs which leads to Sid ending up in an underground world where dinosaurs roam free, and where his herd must rescue him, while dodging dinosaurs and facing danger left and right, and meeting up with a weasel known as Buck who hunts dinosaurs intently. Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs will be funny and a pretty good family film. This movie is rated PG- for some mild rude humor and peril. Iron Man 2 Movie

Iron Man 2 is an upcoming 2010 movie film, based on the Marvel Comics. It is the sequel to 2008's first Iron Man movie. The main actor is Robert Downey, Jr. reprising the title role. The Iron Man 2 movie will be released on May 7, 2010. In an interview, Jon Favreau also stated that Stark's revealing of his identity is taking its toll on him. Favreau revealed their version of Iron Man's comic book nemesis the Mandarin, while S.H.I.E.L.D. will continue to have a major role. During development, Favreau said the film would explore Stark's alcoholism, but it would not be "the Leaving Las Vegas version". Downey said, while promoting the first film, that Stark would probably develop a drinking problem as he is unable to cope with his age and Pepper getting a boyfriend. Before filming began, Downey revealed that while the film was not an adaptation of Demon in a Bottle, it was more about the "interim space" between the origin and the Demon story arc. There will be three major action sequences in the film. This film is directed by Jon Favreau.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

Another new Twilight Saga movie will be release on the big screen on November of 2009. The Twilight Saga: New Moon Movie. The New Moon movie also released its new poster. New Moon will more than feed the bloodthirsty hankerings of fans of the first movie and leave them breathless for the third. I already saw the official movie trailer of New Moon when the Cullens gave Bella a birthday party. When Edward’s brother, Jasper, is scent her bloods and tries to attack Bella. Meanwhile, Bella learns that Jacob Black is a werewolf. He and his fellow werewolves protect Bella from the vampires, the latter of whom seeks revenge for her dead mate, James, whom the Cullens killed in the first movie. Edward tells Bella that he has always loved her and only left to protect her. The Volturi a peace-keeping vampire tell them that Bella, a human who knows that vampires exist, must either be killed or transformed into a vampire. Bella finally understands everything that will be at stake if she makes the ultimate choice to give up her humanity and live, like the vampires, forever. The Cullens voting in favor of Bella being transformed into a vampire after her graduation much to Edward's dismay. The story is already suspense, millions of fans are eager to watch this new Twilight Saga: The New Moon.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine Saga

The story begins 20 years before the rise of the X-Men, deep in the Canadian wilderness. Logan, a mutant with a violent past, is finding inner peace in the arms of a schoolteacher. The past has a way of catching up, however, and soon his half-brother Victor tracks him down, brutally murdering the woman he loves. Although this epic story spans 150 years' worth of flashbacks, at its core is the story of Logan's quest for revenge against Victor -- a quest that turns him from man to Wolverine. It's packed with nonstop action, has cutting-edge special effects and stunt work, terrific cinematography and beautiful locations. A super-buff Jackman gets to explore the character in more depth than previously and Liev Schreiber, as his brother, makes a dandy bad guy. But like most superhero origin stories, there's a certain predictability inherent in sketching in the back story of a well-established character like Wolverine. After an intriguing prologue set in 1845 that establishes our hero and Victor (later Sabretooth) as mutant brothers. By that point, they're in a covert cadre of military mutants known as Team X. But Wolverine lacks the blood lust of the others, particularly Victor, and walks away during a mission in Namibia. Six years later, settled with a wife and working as a lumberjack in the Canadian Rockies, they pull him back in again after tragedy strikes. Wolverine wants vengeance against his brother for an unspeakable act. But can he trust Colonel Stryker, the former commander of Team X, who offers to increase Wolverine's powers with Marvel Comics' signature super-strong alloy adamantium so he can triumph over Sabretooth?
